“What it feels like to be far from home on new year’s eve? It is like craving for something within comfort and longing for the warmth of familiar faces. Hands down to all overseas workers who work beyond limits for their families. Do not pity the strong for the world rewards those who persist.”
First weekend of 2019! The need to celebrate this new year with my family. We really do not have an agenda but to catch-up and bond and rest and sleep and so the list goes on =) But honestly, it is a way for me to thanks and make my parents comfortable and pampered even if it just for a night – so be it.
Fairmont Makati: Very convenient and accessible hotel since it is close to shopping malls and train station. This time around, I am impressed with the services provided given that Ms. Carmel who is stationed at the priority welcome for Accor is hospitable and accommodating. We were even granted late check-out (up to 0200PM).

Thank you as well for giving us these sinful slices. Happiest Birthday to Tito Danny and Dyan =)
- Room Type: King Non-Smoking, exclusive of breakfast. Though if you’re booking for a group, I will recommend two double beds instead of a king bed for additional bed space.
- Room Vibes: Elegant though I personally want more cohesiveness in terms of theme/ furniture displayed – that all items complement to the overall look of the room.
- Duration and Cost: Overnight stay worth PhP~8,300 (max of 3 adults or PhP2,800 per pax)
- Overall: Recommended for Family/ Staycation based primarily on location as it is close to malls (Glorietta/ Landmark/ Greenbelt).
